The 15-station outdoor trail is the cityβs first-ever permanent historical experience thatβs open to the public 24/7. Located in the historic downtown district, the Opa-locka Heritage Trail tells the founding history of the city, including the people, industries, and ideas that made it one of the most exciting places to be during the mid-to-late 1920s.
Funded by non-profit Ten North Group, this was a partnership between the City of Opa-locka and the Opa-locka Preservation Association.
The Trail begins at the historic fire and police station, located at 151 N. Perviz Avenue, Opa-locka, FL 33054, and continues south on Perviz Avenue until Ali Baba Avenue, and then goes north on Opa-locka Boulevard finishing behind historic city hall.
