Opa-locka Museum of Art & History
Opened in December 2024, the Opa-locka Museum of Art & History is an inspiring new cultural destination operated by the nonprofit Ten North Group. Housed inside the beautifully restored historic Opa-locka Train Station, the museum brings the city’s remarkable story to life — from its visionary 1920s founding to its dynamic connections with today’s community and creative culture.
Visitors can explore a series of thoughtfully curated exhibits that weave together Opa-locka’s architectural legacy, artistic innovation, and civic spirit — celebrating both its storied past and its vibrant present.
The museum is free and open to the public every first Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or Monday through Friday by appointment.
